Cranberry Manor Bed and Breakfast in East Stroudsburg, PA is conveniently located in the Poconos so you can do more during you stay.  Just 20 minutes from Delaware  Water Gap and Bog Pocono State Park.  There is plenty of hiking, biking and water activities to keep you busy during your stay.   Cranberry Manor Bed and Breakfast is situated on 14 acres along the edge of the Tannersville Cranberry Bog which is open to the public with pre-registered guided tours.

Bushkill Falls


Visit Bushkill Falls, one of the Keystone States most famous scenic attractions. Bushkill Falls is also known as “Niagara of Pennsylvania” with its unique series of 8 waterfalls nestled deep in the wooded Pocono Mountains. With its excellent network of hiking trails and bridges you will enjoy the fabulous views of the falls and surround forest. Don’t forget the camera! A must see in the fall as the leaves are changing.

The Poconos are comprised of over 24,000 miles of scenic terrain for the rugged wilderness to rolling hills and farmlands. Explore the vast amount of hiking areas the Pocono Mountains have to offer.

The Appalachian Scenic Trail is located nearby at Delaware Water Gap with its many scenic hiking trails. Stop in at the Delaware Water Gap visitor center for a map of trails to explore.

The Pocono Mountains has many state game land parks. Close by in Tannersville, PA is Big Pocono State Park which offers incredible views from the summit of Camelback Mountain.

Enjoy hiking at the Kettle Creek Environmental Education Center.

Tannersville Cranberry Bog

Cranberry Manor Bed and Breakfast is located on 14 acres which consists mostly of protected wetlands along the edge of the Tannersville Cranberry Bog.

Public bog walk guided tours are available by reservations only through the Monroe County Environmental Center. Please visit their website for the calendar of Bog Walk dates and phone numbers to reserve your spot for a bog walk. Our guests can meet up 5/10 mile down the road at the Cranberry Bog parking lot to take the tour which lasts about 2 ½ hours. Camelback Adventures

When you get ready to plan your stay, Camelback Mountain offers a wide variety of activities. Camelback Mountain is less than 6 miles from Cranberry Manor Bed and Breakfast. Take on the challenges of the Tree Top Adventures Obstacle Course. Take a heart pounding adventure on the 1000 feet Zipline while 85 feet above the trees. Race side-by-side while flying from the summit of Camelback Mountain at speeds up to 60 mph along a 4,000 feet long tandem Zip-Flyer. This is the longest & fastest zip line in North America. Plenty of mountain adventures to choose from.

Take a relaxing ride through the Pocono Mountain woods on horseback. One of our favorites is Pocono Manor Stables located at Pocono Manor in Mount Pocono, PA. Ride through the woods and the streams and ask about the ride to the waterfall. Most enjoyable Spring/Summer and Fall.  They have another location at Mountain Creek Stables.  They also offer Wagon Rides.

The nearby Delaware Water Gap is the perfect location to reconnect to nature and enjoy the scenic Delaware Water Gap. Canoe and Kayak rentals are available at Delaware Water Gap.  Rentals at Edge of the Woods Outfitters.

Biking in the Poconos


The Poconos will put the word “Mountain” back into mountain biking. With its rugged varied mountain terrains it has to offer you will find incredible mountain biking conditions for you to lean into and enjoy. The wide variety of conditions allows opportunities for bikers of all ages, levels of endurance and skill.  Unpaved dirt roads abound and offer up remote access to the pristine wilderness that has made the Pocono region famous.  With our numerous National and State Parks, Game lands and Hunting Lands, you’ll be hard pressed to find better conditions for even the most extreme bikers. The Pocono Mountains offers choices both indoor and outdoor water parks.  While the water parks can be fun so can coming back to a quiet inn at the end of the day.  Kalahari  Indoor water park is open to the public year round. Aquatopia at Camelback sometimes sells tickets off season to the indoor water park.  The largest outdoor water park is Camelbeach and is open to the public.
