Cancellation Policy Update for COVID-19 Virus
Polices have been established at Cranberry Manor Bed and Breakfast, to ensure that our guests enjoy their stay with us. No smoking is allowed inside the B&B, no guest pets, and no children under the age of 14 years old. If you have anyone visiting you at the B&B not listed on your reservation you must get prior approval from the innkeeper.

All reservations require a one night room rate deposit + 9% taxes “per” room booked. All reservations one night deposits must be secured with a credit card. Please see that cancellation policies below. We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express, or Cash. Room rate covers 2 people per a room, per a night and include a full breakfast each morning. PA state sales tax of 6%, room tax 3%, and gratuity are not included in the rates shown. Rates or taxes are subject to change without notice.
Reservation Cancellation/Change Policies
Most reservations can be cancelled free of charge up to “7 days in advance” of your scheduled arrival date.
However, if your stay is during a Holiday week/weekend, special event, or part of a group reservation you can cancel free of charge “30 days in advance” of your scheduled arrival.
Please note that we will assess a fee in the amount of your first night stay + taxes if you cancel/change your reservation for any reason after the deadline. If you have made a prepayment, we will retain all or part of the prepayment for what is due. If not, we will charge your credit card.
No shows by 9 PM day of scheduled arrival will be charged the full amount of the stay and the room guaranteed and held for the duration of the paid stay however, “No Shows” are required to call ahead to make new arrangements for a scheduled check-in time..
Early departure falls within our cancellation policy. There are no refunds for early departure.
Cancellations are made directly via phone, 570.620.2246. Emails and voicemails are not acceptable for reservation cancellations. Reservations require a cancellation confirmation#.
We are not responsible for any inclement weather. Guests should purchase a third party trip insurance as cancellations may be unavoidable.
Please allow 30 business days for processing of all refunds
Room rates include accommodations for 2 and our full breakfast. Rates are quoted per night excluding taxes. We have “5” rooms at the B&B. The maximum occupancy per room is “2” persons.
Check In/Check Out
At check in the cardholder booking the reservation must present their credit card used to book the reservation and id at check-in. The card holder may choose another form of accepted payment at check in.
Check-in time starts at 3:00PM. We have scheduled check-in times till 9PM. If you will be arriving after 9PM pre-arrangements for a late arrival can be made in advance with the Innkeeper. Guests running late can provide us with a courtesy call to update their scheduled check in times. We are not responsible for guest that miss their scheduled check-in times and are unable to access the B&B.
Check out time is 11:00.
Minimum Stays for the Inn
At this time a “2 night minimum stay” is required for all reservations.
Making a Reservation
For your convenience you may book your room online 24/7. Once you have completed the online reservation, you will receive an email confirmation with information about your reservation.
You may also call us to make a reservation. We accept calls from 9:30 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. (please, no late night or early morning calls as this is also our residence phone). Your call is important to us. If you didn’t reach us via phone 570-620-2246, please leave a message so we may return your call. You may also use our contact form.
Same Day Reservations – If you are looking for same day arrival you must call to make a reservation. You can call 570.620.2246 for same day reservations between the hours of 9:30AM and 9:00PM.
Cranberry Manor Bed and Breakfast is a historical building. The B&B was originally built in the 1880’s and has limited handicap accessibility. All the B&B rooms are located on the 2nd or 3rd floor accessible by stairs only. If you have any concerns please ask when booking your reservation so we can help answer any questions or concerns that you may have. We are also currently working to make our website more ADA compliant.
A full gourmet breakfast is served to our guests in the dining room at 9:00AM Sunday – Friday and at 8:30AM on Saturdays. Please let us know of any food allergies or dietary restrictions at your time of booking so we can try to accommodate your dietary restrictions during you stay. Guest are responsible for monitoring their own food allergies.
Ask the innkeeper in advance about a breakfast to go if you will be heading out early.
Cranberry Manor Bed and Breakfast does not hold a license to sell alcoholic beverages. Guests over the age of 21 of may bring their own, but for the safety and comfort of all of our guests, please drink responsibly.
We have ice for ice buckets, assorted glasses, and corkscrews available for your convenience.
Due to the historic nature of our building, and for the safety and comfort of all of our guests, we do not allow smoking, vaping, incense/candle burning, or aromatherapy diffusers in any of our guest rooms. Guests who disregard our policy will be charged a minimum $250 housekeeping fee for additional room cleaning and any loss of the room income.
Smoking is allowed on the covered porches and on the outside grounds in areas away from the other guests. We ask that you please be considerate of the other guests that do not smoke.
Guests, Children and Pets
We cater to the comfort, privacy and security of our registered guests. Guest visitors are only permitted on the property with prior Innkeeper approval.
Cranberry Manor Bed and Breakfast is regarded as a quiet escape and romantic getaway for most of our guests, and we work hard to foster that environment. Therefore, it is not an appropriate place for children under the age of 14. Max room occupancy is “2 persons” no exceptions.
Cranberry Manor Bed and Breakfast does not allow guest “pets” on the B&B premises. The Innkeepers’ pets reside on the “owners” side of the house and are not allowed in the B&B common areas. Please let us know in advance if you have any questions or concerns.
Guests booking at the B&B are responsible for any damages incurred by them or their guests during their stay. Negligent damages found to be the responsibility of a guest will be charged to the credit card used to book the room(s). Please report all spills and/or damages to the innkeepers promptly so we can address the issue immediately.
Items Left Behind
We are not responsible for items left behind. If you left something behind, contact us within 24 hours of departure. Items are quickly disposed of or donated.
Items requested for return are shipped back at the guests expense. Guests will be responsible for providing a pre-paid shipping label and a return packaging if packaging materials are not available.
Code of Conduct
We want all our guests to enjoy a peaceful stay here at Cranberry Manor Bed and Breakfast. Cranberry Manor reserves the right to refuse service or lodging to anyone. Cranberry Manor reserves the right to ask any guest who is disruptive, abusive, threatening or offensive to our others guests or innkeepers to leave the B&B immediately with no refund for early departure.
Gift Certificate Redemption
Give us a call when you are ready to redeem your Cranberry Manor Bed and Breakfast Gift Certificate. There are no expiration dates on Cranberry Manor Bed and Breakfast Gift Certificates issued on or after June 2007. Gift Certificates issued before June 2007 are no longer valid.
A one night deposit is required when booking with a gift certificate and will be deducted from the amount of the gift certificate towards the stay. Cancellation policies do apply. You must notify the innkeeper “at the time of booking your reservation” online or via phone if you will be redeeming a gift certificate towards your stay. Please note that room rates or taxes may have changed since the gift certificate was issued. We will let you know at the time of booking if any additional amount is due for your stay.
